School leaders are busy. Policybase’s notifications are designed to tell the right person the right thing without burying everyone in alerts.

Customisable preferences

Each user controls their own notification settings: which events they hear about and how (email, in-app, or a digest). A principal might want immediate alerts for compliance issues. A teacher might prefer a weekly summary.

Automatic escalation

If a policy review is overdue, Policybase doesn’t just send reminders. After a configurable period, overdue items escalate to the next person in the chain: from the reviewer to the DP, then to the principal. Nothing gets stuck.

Digest emails

For leaders who don’t want individual notifications for every event, Policybase offers a daily or weekly digest. One email, everything that needs attention.

Role-based routing

Notifications go to people based on their roles and responsibilities. When a policy area needs attention, the right people hear about it without anyone needing to manually assign notifications.
